Held under clear sky's and mild conditions the weather was perfect for a short blast through the tight singletrack found at Coombe hill. Trail conditions were running pretty firm and and despite recent weather conditions were surprisingly dry which allowed good progress around the route and made the singletrack that little bit more fun; especially with plenty of wet leaves on the surface and the odd slippery root to catch out anyone who got too complacent.
Despite most the riders claiming to have 'no idea where they were' for most of the ride we all successfully managed to complete the 90 minute ride and make it back to the car park with smiles on our faces... at least they looked like smiles... it's hard to tell in the dark!
We will be organising more Night Rides over the winter along side our normal group rides, club rides and club trips, so what this space for more information soon and we hope to see you out on the trails again soon!
