A circular 31 mile, circa 1100ft (relatively flat) route starting from Redbourn Cricket Club heading along the dis used railway (Nicky) line to Harpenden (mainly gravel path (easy going)).

At the end of the Nicky line the route is tarmac lanes to Welwyn Stanborough Park (where there is an option for a Cafe stop - mile 13), and then onto Hatfield where we join the next dis used railway (Alban Way) line, taking us onto St Albans and the next Cafe stop option (mile 21) in the Verulamium Park, and through the Gorhambury House Estate and back to Redbourn.

This is considered a moderate to easy (in terms of terrain and elevation, and would suite those that haven't been out for a while, but don't mind the distance and time (approx 3-4 hrs with Cafe stops), mainly well compacted gravel paths and tarmac lanes.

GPX download available from the WhatsApp Group.

Helmets are mandatory, no helmet, no ride.

Free parking, no height restriction.
