Coronavirus Q&A

We are taking the health and well-being of our members, supporters, groups and volunteers very seriously and we're following the UK Government, NHS, Public Health England and CyclingUK guidance closely.

Rides will be following guidance from CyclingUK that is based upon the latest UK Government guidance. As such rides will be limited to groups of 6 and current social distancing measures must be adhered too. Should more than 6 members attend any ride then the party will be split accordingly.

Further information is available here: https://www.cyclinguk.org/article/coronavirus-qa-it-safe-cycle

We also ask that all riders bring a small antibacterial gel along with them, and we request that you carry any tools and spares necessary so you do not need to rely on other riders. It is entirely personal preference should you wish to bring and wear a face covering. We also ask anyone with symptoms of COVID, or symptoms of any flu or fever to stay at home and not attend any club rides.

For further information take a look at Cycling UK's Coronavirus Q&A: is it safe to cycle report and their further guidance on Covid-19. For further information also see the UK Government website.

We advise you to please read the CyclingUK guidance and to pay particular attention to any restrictions listed on event listings. All riders must register their attendance to a ride so that we can track attendees in case any club member or volunteer develops possible symptoms of COVID. We recommend that if you want to go out cycling, whether by yourself, or as a group, to keep a safe distance from others.

For further information take a look at Cycling UK's Coronavirus Q&A: is it safe to cycle report and their further guidance on Covid-19. For further information also see the UK Government website.
