Club members only ride at Cannock Chase, Staffordshire. Kindly organised and led by Club member, Steve Attwood.

Purpose built trail centre but feels more much more natural. Two part of the route include  ‘follow the dog’ and ‘the monkey’ totalling around 15 miles of mostly red graded routes with a few black options which can be bypassed. Expect a fun and medium paced route of the Monkey Trail and Follow the Dog. Cannock features a mixture of natural and primarily man made singletrack trails, including root and rock sections, technical climbs, fast technical singletrack descents the odd bit of northshore and berms galore. If you are not familiar with the great riding at Cannock then take a look on the Chase Trails website here.

Meet out side on the grass next to the Birches Valley cafe 10.00am for a promp 10:15am start. Full suspension would be preferred choice for terrain but a hardtail is still suitable

Park at the Birches Valley Forest Centre car park, postcode WS15 2UQ. Please note pay and display charges apply, £6.00 for the whole day.

You do not need to purchase a riding permit

Please bring waterproofs, snacks, water and bike spares (if you have them).

Bikes must be in a suitable condition to ride and be suited to off-road riding. Bikes can be rigid, front suspension only (hardtail) or full suspension. Mountain bikes and cyclo-cross bikes welcome.
