Circular route starting from Potten End to Dunstable Downs, along ridge through the Ashridge Estate to Ivinhoe Beacon, down, around and up to Dunstable Downs, and back. This is mainly flat (along the ridge line from Potten End to Ivinhoe Beacon) with a long downhill from the beacon around open fields, to West Dunstable, a long uphill to the Dunstable Downs National Trust Centre, the route back from Dunstable Downs to Potten End has a couple of up and downhill sections, but mainly flat.
