This is a superb circular route which will take us onto beautiful woodland tracks through Surrey. Our journey begins at Felday Glade where we will make our way upto Leith Hill in order to zip down ‘Summer Lightning’
From here we make our way over the North Downs where we will then hit the ‘A25 Drop’ into Shere, this is a trail that should not be missed!
We then head into Winterfold Woods before hitting ‘Bullethead’ down into Peaslake for a snack break. For those feeling energetic there is an option to add in additional loops of ‘Barry Knows Best’, ‘Secret Santa’ and lots of other trails that Surrey has to offer!
Unfortunately what goes down must go up and its here we begin our climb to the top of Holmbury Hill in order to ride ‘Yoghurt Pots’ and ‘Telegraph Road’ before finishing back at Felday Glade.
All in all this route is approx 22miles with about 3000 feet of climbing so good fitness or an ebike is a must!
The trail grading would probably be red however any features that you are not comfortable with you can either avoid or walk down them. I would advise wearing knee pads.
Assuming the weather stays like this, this is probably going to be one of the last opportunities to ride these awesome trails in dry conditions.
Meet at https://w3w.co/bench.bunks.city at 9am for a 9.15 start.
