Ley Hill to Potten End - 21 miles - Club Members Ride

A circular route starting from Ley Hill to Potten End, Ashridge, (towards Hawridge) and back. 50% gravel track / trail and 50% tarmac lanes, so good going. 

Pace estimate: 10mph

Distance: 20.41miles

Duration:  2-3 hrs (subject to mechanicals and rest stops)

Climbing: 1129ft

Sorry, no beverage stop, but if are good for time, we could do a slight detour (will add a couple of miles) and stop at the Hawridge Velo Cafe.

Helmets are mandatory, no helmet no ride.

Free parking, no height restriction.

 
Location Near Leyhill cricket club, 10 Kiln Ln, Chesham HP5 3QS. Park in the parking bay on Middle Road lane

  • Ballinger to Dunsmore - Club Members Ride - 23 June 2024

    A figure of eight route starting from Ballinger heading to Wendover Woods, Hastoe, return to Wendover village, up to Dunsmore and back. Mostly woodland single track, hilly with some nice twisty sections. Club members opted to go for Sunday lunch at the Firecrest pub afterwards which was a nice end to the ride. See you on the next ride!

     

  • Great Missenden Night Ride - Club Members Ride - 20 June 2024

    Circular route starting from Great Missenden leading to Hampden House, Lacey Green, Whiteleaf, Dunsmore and back. This is quite a hilly but fast paced ride with quality woodland trails, tight and twisty single track and some unexpected mud! Club members opted for dinner at the Fish Bar & Mangal, Great Missenden. See you on the next ride!

     

  • Uptonogood Bike Festival – 15th June 2024

    Starting at the village of Upton in Oxfordshire and almost entirely off-road the Uptonogood cycling event winds its way through the beautiful North Wessex downs, encompassing the Ridgeway and surrounding bridleways with plenty of feed stops along the way. Finally, back to the start for drinks, food and a great selection of live music throughout the afternoon. Members opted to camp overnight in nearby North Moreton with dinner at the Bear pub for a much needed dinner and a few pints! See you on the next ride!

     

  • Cadmore End to Pishill - 24 miles - Club Members Ride - 13 June 2024

    A circular route starting from Cadmore End heading to Skirmett, Hambleden, Pishill and back. This is a hilly ride, lots of climbs rewarded by gnarly woodland descents. Beverages at the Chiltern Valley Winery Coffee shop. See you on the next ride!

     

     

  • Ashley Green to Hastoe - 22 miles - June24

    A circular route starting from Ashley Green, leading to Bellingdon, Ballinger, Hale Woods, Hastoe and back via Hawridge. Quite hilly, lots of woodland singletrack with linking back lanes. Weather held but it was a chilly one so needed that coffee and cake at the Velo Cafe Hawridge! See you on the next ride!

     

  • TrailBreak Ramsbury Tripple Triple - June24

    A TrailBreak event, starting from Marlborough heading across the Wiltshire Downs. Our club member Tracy came in 7th out of 159 riders on the long 50K ride, it was a fast gravel route, stunning effort on a full suspension MTB bike!!! See you on the next ride!

     

     

Senior Membership

Senior membership is available for all adults over 18 years of age.

Junior Membership

Junior membership is available to all riders under the age of 18 years of age. 

Family Membership

Family membership covers a family of up to 4 persons. The package is based on 2 adults and 2 children (under 18) who all live at the same address.
