Shackleford to Devils Punch Bowl - Club Members Ride - November 2024
A revisit of the trail breaks shackleford afterburner ride. A circular route across the surrey heaths including the devils punchbowl with a cracking descent, avoiding muddy trails due to the sandy soil in the area. Refreshments at the coffee shop 'Tern Cafe' Frensham little pond. See you on the next ride!
Ballinger to Hastoe - Club Members Ride - November 2024
A circular route starting from Ballinger leading to Hale Woods, Hastoe, Ashley Green and back via Hawridge. Quite hilly, lots of woodland singletrack with linking back lanes. Beverages at the Velo Cafe Hawridge. See you on the next ride!
Berkhamsted to Dunstable Downs - Club Members ride - 10 November 2024
Starting from the War Memorial Berkhamsted, heading to Potten End, Whipsnade, Dunstable Downs, Invinghoe Beacon, Ashridge and back. Lots of double track, rolling hills with a couple of steep climbs. This was another long route but easier terrain not forgetting a minutes silence at 11am. Great cafe stop at the Trooper Inn, Aldbury. See you on the next ride!
Chinnor to Bennett End - Club Members Ride - 3 November 2024
Starting from Chinnor the route criss-crosses the local hills, woodland and open trails to Bedlow Ridge and back. This was a long ride with 3200ft of climbing but with some great single track descents and steps. Drinks afterwards at Whites Windmill cafe. See you on the next ride!
Ballinger to Ivinghoe Beacon - Club Members Ride - 27 October 2024
A circular route starting from Ballinger heading to Wendover woods, Tring, Ivinghoe Beacon, Hawridge and back. Fantastic ride, stunning landscapes and a cracking refreshment stop at the Church Farm cafe in Aldbury. See you on the next ride!
