BucksMTB Swinley Forest XC Group Ride April 2012
Our April open ride was planned to run at Swinley Forest near Bracknell – mostly because of the impending rain that makes the Chilterns a real slog in the wet… and also because we can run an entire ride without touching any tarmac!
BucksMTB Watlington XC Group Ride March 2012
Our open group ride for March 2012 was scheduled to start in Watlington and recycle a route we used last April. It’s a route that I often ride after work in the summer as the views are lovely and it’s normally pretty quiet. There’s loads of scope to add little loops on and take shortcuts if needed and whilst the descents aren’t technically that challenging they are a lot of fun! The route is around 22 miles with 3 notable climbs with a total ascent of 2200ft; the descents also total 2200ft as it’s a circular route.
BucksMTB Chiltern Hills XC Group Ride February 2012
On a cold, breezy and slightly dull February morning nineteen of us local Mountain Bikers awoke to attend our Chiltern Hills February XC Group Ride.

BucksMTB New Years Day XC Group Ride January 2012
As tradition dictates we have to go out riding on New Years Day. Not wanting to break our ten year long tradition we organised one of our monthly XC Group Rides for New Years Day 2012.
BucksMTB Boxing Day XC Group Ride December 2011
It is laid down in a distance memory or in law and order somewhere that it is traditional for BucksMTB to go riding on Boxing Day. It used to be just the staff riding Boxing Day morning back many moons ago but with the expansion of our regular rides and club we decided to hold a full XC Group Ride Event on Boxing Day morning to continue the tradition and open up the ride for everyone else too.
